Women's Health

Women’s health conditions, such as irregular periods, recurrent UTIs/vaginal infections, PCOS, PMS, perimenopause, often involve intricate hormonal, metabolic, and lifestyle factors that require a root-cause approach to truly understand and manage. Many women experiencing these issues may feel dismissed or rushed through appointments, with symptoms minimized rather than explored. However, conditions like PCOS, PMS, or hormonal fluctuations in perimenopause are often rooted in a range of influences—from insulin resistance and gut health to chronic stress and nutrient deficiencies. When healthcare providers take the time to listen deeply to each woman’s unique story and symptoms, it creates space for a personalized approach that addresses these underlying causes. Addressing the whole person goes beyond simply prescribing medication; it may involve dietary adjustments, lifestyle changes, targeted supplements, and stress management. This comprehensive, compassionate approach empowers women to actively participate in their health and helps them achieve long-lasting balance and vitality.

Labs are available to help determine what is contributing to these hormonal imbalances as well. Labs include regular blood work and specialty labs such as DUTCH testing, and vaginal flora testing for recurrent infections.
